Women’s clothing and accessories store Haven LaRae opened recently in The Shops at Highland Village in Highland Village.

“We actually came from the West Coast,” owner Beverly Maes said. “We actually had our store there for 16 years. ... We’ve been in business since 2006.”

Haven LaRae’s website noted the store was formerly known as Seduce Boutique and based in Kirkland, Washington, near Seattle.

Maes said the store, which opened July 1 and is located at 1501 Cottonwood Creek, Ste. 110, acquires its clothing from Los Angeles, and she considers the styles to be “fashion forward.” The website describes the store as “upscale.”

“We understand fashion and are committed to providing women with beautiful clothes that will be unique, gorgeous and fun,” the website states. “The store's stylish collection caters to the modern woman, as well as the younger generation. You can shop for casual wear, designer dresses, fabulous jewelry, chic handbags and other unique novelties.”
