Hawaii Fluid Art opened June 17 at 6101 Long Prairie Road, Ste. 736, said co-owner Shahid Mehmood, whose art gallery and studio specializes in acrylic pour painting. He co-owns the business with wife, Jodi. The business is part of a national chain.
The business offers several classes in which students can paint canvases, framed glass and tumbler cups, Mehmood said. Group classes are offered, as are team-building exercises for buildings. Children and adults can participate in classes.
Hawaii Fluid Art also sells artwork from local artists, and those art pieces can be found in the business’s lobby, Mehmood said.

People can sign up for classes online or call 800-463-3793. Hours for the Flower Mound location are 11 a.m.-7 p.m Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Hawaii Fluid Art is closed Mondays. The company has locations in Dallas, Frisco, Coppell and Mansfield.
