Zion Market, a major Korean grocery chain in the U.S., held its soft opening Aug. 27. The Korean-influenced center features restaurants, retail, and grocery and activity space in the 150,000-square-foot former Sears building in Music City Mall Lewisville.

Located at 2401 S. Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville, Zion Market is set to bring K-Pop Together, a major Korean pop music festival, to Music City Mall in Lewisville Oct. 26-27. The event is also backed by the city.

On Aug. 5, Lewisville City Council unanimously approved an economic development agreement with Zion Market and its partner TW Realty Advisors which included a one-time $100,000 grant to help facilitate the city's first K-Pop festival.
