Marion Elementary School Principal Johnna Walker will be reassigned as principal of a new Allen ISD elementary school near the intersection of Chelsea Boulevard and Ridgeview Drive, district staff announced Monday. Walker will begin the new job in January in preparation for the opening of the new school in August, Ken Gregorski told the Allen ISD Board of Trustees at its regular meeting. Allen ISD has begun a search for the new Marion principal and plans to fill the opening in January. Walker has been Marion's principal since 2006 and before that was assistant principal since 2003. She had previously taught at Allen ISD's Reed Elementary School and elementary schools in three Oklahoma districts.
