Frisco City Council approved new reduced speed limits in school zones for four new schools opening this year as well as some existing schools. The 20 mph speed limits will be in effect at the beginning and end of school days, running as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 4:45 p.m. Frisco ISD is opening new schools in August to accommodate an increased number of students moving into the district.
