Following the University of North Texas’ new Frisco college’s first semester this year, the campus will add new degree programs and courses this fall.
The campus will add a Master of Business Administration in marketing analytics degree, a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice degree and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in sports management as well as programs focusing on data science and strategic corporate communication.
The campus, which opened in January in Hall Park, offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to complete degrees in business, criminal justice, educational leadership, journalism and communication studies.
The campus in Frisco has also offered additional opportunities for the university to partner with area businesses, said Brenda Sims, director of UNT’s New College at Frisco.
“We have enjoyed working with the Frisco Economic Development Corp. as well as the Frisco and Plano chambers of commerce to learn about the area’s workforce needs,” Sims said. “We also continue to examine ways to partner with employers to develop opportunities for our students.”
