Frisco ISD is hosting new student registration July 13-15 and July 18-22 for the 2016-17 school year.
FISD will open four new schools in August which includes one high school, one middle school and two elementary schools, bringing the total number of schools to 68. An additional eight new schools are expected to open by 2019.
The district is projected to enroll 56,904 students in the 2016-17 school year, an increase of more than 3,600 students from last school year.
According to FISD, in the summer about two-thirds of new students join the district. Every July, FISD hosts centralized K-12 registration to manage the influx of new students and help new families prepare for the new school year.
Parents are asked to bring the necessary documentation. Immunizations will be available July 15 and 22. Middle school course selection and bilingual/ESL testing are also available.
Appointments are available each day between 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Vandeventer Middle School, 6075 Independence Parkway in Frisco.

Early Childhood School summer enrollment is now over but families can still register in August at the school at 10330 Red Cedar Drive in Frisco.
