The Disney Store in Stonebriar Centre mall is undergoing a redesign and will have a grand opening event on April 12, according to company officials.
The newly designed store will include storytelling neighborhoods with a Disney princess castle, magical trees, a Disney Store Theater and a custom skyline with Disney storytelling scenes and local landmarks.
The grand opening is set for 10 a.m. at The Disney Store on the upper level of the mall, 2601 Preston Road. The first 500 guests will receive a free gift.
From noon–4 p.m. will be a meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the Nordstrom Court and guests are encouraged to bring cameras.
Company officials said the Stonebriar Centre store is one of several newly-designed Disney stores to open throughout the U.S. this year.
