Marianas Taco Shop began renovations at its current location to create a bigger space for customers.

“We’re expanding to allow more customers to sit and enjoy meals,” co-owner Sofia Santoyo said. Sofia owns the restaurant with her brother Miguel Santoyo.

The pair rented another space within the same building to add more seating, a larger salsa bar, new menu items and to serve beer.

The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of January, Sofia said.
