Jefferson at The Gate is located on the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and John Hickman Parkway. The Gate is a $1 billion development first announced in 2016 and will include more than 650,000 square feet of office space, 130,000 square feet of retail space and a luxury hotel.
The Gate’s first project, Domain at The Gate, is finishing construction and is expected to be complete later this year. The project will consist of 350 multifamily units.
Irving-based JPI construction will be building the new multifamily community in partnership with MORE Residential. Invest Group Overseas is the master developer of the entire development.
“With the rapid and sustained population growth in Frisco, now is an exciting and essential time for development,” JPI Senior Vice President Matt Brendel said in a statement. “To support the large amount of jobs being create in the Dallas-Forth Worth metroplex, there is an impending need for key housing and infrastructure developments as well.”
Across from the The Gate on the east side of the DNT is the $2 billion Wade Park mixed-use development, which is faces foreclosure.
