Developers are turning dirt throughout Frisco. Developments include office parks, retail centers and residential neighborhoods. The following are some development highlights of different projects coming soon.
1. Wyndham at Legacy Commerce Park
The first building of the new office park completed construction and is now being leased out. The second building is under construction and expected to be complete in 2017. The project broke ground Jan. 6, and each building will be 12,300 square feet.
2. Frisco Market Center addition
Two buildings are under construction that will add more retail space to Frisco Market Center on the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Main Street. The two buildings total about 60,000 square feet. The buildings are expected to be complete in December.

Hollyhock is the newest community developed by Newland Communities located in the southeast corner of US 380 and FM 423. Homes are currently under construction for the planned 836 single-family-home community. Homes will range from 2,154 to 4,440 square feet. Hollyhock will include 20 acres of recreation inside the community and 5.5 miles of adjacent hike and bike trails connecting to more than 300 acres of natural open space. Construction began in 2015 and is expected to be complete by 2022.
4. Estates at Rockhill
Phase 1 of Estates at Rockhill began construction in January 2015 at the northwest corner of FM 423 and Rockhill Parkway.[/caption]Phase 1 of Estates at Rockhill began construction in January 2015 at the northwest corner of FM 423 and Rockhill Parkway. Shaddock Development completed construction on the subdivision in September. Model homes are expected to be open soon. Landscaping is being installed, and an amenity center will begin construction soon. There are two more phases to the subdivision. Phase 2 has 76 lots, and Phase 3 has 109 lots. The next phase will begin construction in about year and open in two years.
5. Gaylord Apartments
Gaylord Apartments has begun construction at the southeast corner of Ohio Drive and Gaylord Parkway. The new apartment complex spans more than 10 acres and will include 283 units. The project is expected to be complete by June 2017.

Jefferson Stonebriar continues construction but is nearly complete on the northeast corner of Ohio Drive and Gaylord Parkway. Construction began in July and is expected to be finished by this spring. The residential development will have a total of 424 units, including townhomes. The property spans about 9 acres and includes a six-story parking garage.
7. Frisco Summit
Frisco Summit has progressed in construction with the structure of the first phase now up at the southwest corner of Ohio Drive and Stone Crest Road.[/caption]Frisco Summit has progressed in construction with the structure of the first phase now up at the southwest corner of Ohio Drive and Stone Crest Road. The first phase is expected to be ready for residents in the spring. The apartment complex will have a total of 373 units and will have 2,000 square feet of retail space. The apartment complex will wrap around a four-story parking garage.
8. Victory at Stonebriar
Construction is near completion on Phase 3 of Victory at Stonebriar office park at the northwest corner of Legacy Drive and Warren Parkway. Phase 3 is a retail building with about 15,000 square feet and is expected to be complete before the end of the year. Phase 2 of the office park completed construction in the summer and includes two buildings ranging between 9,000-10,000 square feet.
