121 Community Church held a ground breaking ceremony Aug. 9 to celebrate construction on a new 50,000-square-foot facility at 2701 Ira E. Woods Ave., Grapevine.
The church purchased 6.5 acres of land between Mustang Drive and SH 114 for the facility.
“We are very excited to begin construction on this new location and begin the next chapter of our history of serving Grapevine and the surrounding community,” said 121 Pastor Ross Sawyers. “The future building is to serve a dual purpose of fulfilling specific unmet needs in the surrounding community while also providing a gathering place on weekends for the church body. God has called us to partner with our city and community leaders in the effort.”
The church currently meets at 840 Mustang Drive, Grapevine, and hosts three worship services on Sundays (9:15 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.). More information is available at www.121cc.com or 817- 488-1213.
