The ground breaking ceremony for Wade Park, the 110-acre mixed-use development on the southeast corner of Lebanon Road and the Dallas North Tollway, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 6 on the site.

The development is to include about 600,000 square feet of specialty retail anchored by a 45,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market, entertainment venues, hotels, up to 6 million square feet of commercial office space, apartments, condominiums, single-family homes.

Georgia-based Thomas Land & Development, which purchased the land from the Wade family, is developing the property.
