Westwood Residential has broken ground on a new apartment complex in Frisco.

The Villas at Chapel Creek on the northwest corner of Lebanon Road and Parkwood Boulevard are expected to be complete in the next 10 to 12 months, said Jeff Lindsey, senior vice president of Westwood Residential.

The 304-unit complex will consist of mostly one-bedroom apartments, but also have two- and three-bedroom units as well as townhomes with attached garages.

The exterior of the complex will be Austin Stone, Lindsey said.

Parking includes surface parking and garages.

Westwood Residential is also building another complex in Frisco for Silver Oak Multifamily Capital—The Emerson at Frisco Market Square on the northwest corner of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway. The first units in the first, 410-unit phase will be available in June, Lindsey said.

Other Westwood Residential projects in Frisco include the first and second phases of Cool Springs at Frisco Bridges. The second, 290-unit phase was recently completed, Lindsey said.

Westwood Residential also built the Old Hickory Square apartments at Preston Road and Hickory Street.
