Stonebriar Centre is adding several new stores and expanding and relocating several more, according to mall officials.
The most recent announcement is the addition of Australian activewear retailer Lorna Jane to the mall offerings. The retailer, which debuted in the U.S. in 2012, is opening its first Dallas/Fort Worth location at Stonebriar Centre in March.
Lorna Jane clothing is designed to support all areas of an active life from the gym to dance classes, outdoor exercise, swimming, running, yoga and Pilates or cycling. Books, diaries and other accessories to support an active lifestyle will also be sold.
Also this spring, the mall will debut James Avery Jewelry and Lolli & Pops sweets store. This summer, another jeweler, Hurst-based Benchmark Jewelers will open, and in the fall, Swedish fashion retailer H&M will join shopping offerings.
In April, The Disney Store will debut a new design, which includes a Disney princess castle, magical trees and an in-store theater featuring the latest in Disney entertainment.
Field of Dreams will be relocated this spring, followed by Forever 21 (also undergoing an expansion) and Sunglass Hut in the fall.
"This is just the beginning," said Randy Barnett, senior general manager of Stonebriar Centre. "We will have even more exciting announcements in the months to come, as we finalize plans with national retailers that are anxious to enter the vibrant shopping environment we provide."
