Work on upgrades to Flower Mound’s Tealwood Oaks Park has wrapped up, according to a town news release.

Improvements at the park include installing a new pedestrian bridge, the addition of fabric shade structures, and upgrading picnic tables and benches. In addition, work included drainage improvements and repairs to the existing trail at the park.

Construction at Tealwood Oaks, located at 1900 Tealwood Blvd., began in early 2024.

The city has 37 playgrounds in its parks, a splash pad with another on the way, 28 pavilions, 1,000 acres of parkland and 60 miles of trail, Chuck Jennings, Flower Mound parks and recreation director, previously told Community Impact.
