The calendar has students beginning classes Aug. 17 and breaking for the summer May 27, 2021.
Winter break begins Dec. 21, and students will return to classes for the spring semester Jan. 5. Spring break will be March 15-19, 2021. Students will spend a total of 174 days in class, while teachers will work a total of 187 days, according to the district.
CFBISD solicited feedback for calendar options from parents and staff, according to the district. A total of 2,040 respondents took the survey.
