Site proposals for McKinney’s Gateway property show a mixed-use development that includes office space, boutique office space over retail space, multifamily residential and outdoor space including a stage area, according to city of McKinney officials. Developers and the McKinney Economic Development Corp. have rebranded the development at the Sam Rayburn Tollway and US 75 interchange as Southgate McKinney. The next step, according to the news release, is for developer KDC, along with partners ATR/Corinth and Columbus Realty, to use the plans to recruit tenants. “We’ve spent a great deal of time envisioning a development as unique as Mckinney,” MEDC board Chairman Jason Burress said. “These site proposals include all the many wonderful amenities we know will attract first-class tenants and we look forward to turning our vision into a reality.”
