1. Tickets still available for James Taylor concert tonight at The Star in Frisco
There is still time to buy tickets for the James Taylor concert taking place at The Star in Frisco tonight. Taylor’s national tour is making a stop at The Star with special guest Bonnie Raitt. This will be the first concert held at the Ford Center at The Star with several restaurant and retail locations now open. Tickets start at $69.95. 2. Frisco City Council holds a joint meeting with the Frisco EDC
The Frisco Economic Development Corp. will make a presentation to the Frisco City Council regarding a comprehensive economic development strategy for Frisco. The presentation will consist of an explanation of the strategic goals, an action plan and a timeline. The
joint meeting begins at 3 p.m. followed by the
City Council's regular meeting at 5 p.m. at Frisco city hall, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.

3. Dive-In Movie features ‘Finding Dory’
Families can float in the pool or the lazy river while watching “Finding Dory” at the Frisco Water Park at the Frisco Athletic Center, 5828 Nancy Jane Lane, Frisco. Gates open at 8 p.m.; the movie starts at sunset. Tickets are $10 per person; children under 2 are free, but still must have a ticket.
