Construction on the 300-unit urban living community began this week. Designed by JHP Architecture/Urban Design, the project will be four stories and feature apartment homes with energy-efficient, stainless steel appliances and LED lighting. There will also be a parking garage available. Frisco Station, which covers 242 acres, will eventually provide up to 2,400 residential units. Station House will have 300 units. Earlier this year, Frisco Station announced plans to develop a 228,000-square-foot, Class A multitenant building within the development. The project will offer 1.5 million square feet of planned office space for Frisco Station. The office building will be seven stories, and construction is underway. “The job growth in this region is creating strong demand for new housing in the Frisco community, and Station House will provide a highly amenitized urban lifestyle product to an area that needs more housing options to meet the growing demand," McHenry said.
