The Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved several new proposed developments during its meeting on Tuesday. One of those developments is Four Corners Shopping Center, an 83.8-acre, mixed-use development on the southwest corner of US 380 and FM 423. The preliminary site plan for the development includes a big-box retail store, 13 retail/restaurant buildings, a neighborhood theater and 740 urban living units. The development is proposed by Rudman Partnership, one of the developers of Frisco Station along the $5 Billion Mile. Another proposed development the commission approved is a 260-unit urban living complex in Frisco Square. The property is between Page Street and Cotton Gin Road east of the Dallas North Tollway. The commission also approved two proposed hotels within the Frisco Station development. Developers broke ground on Frisco Station on Oct. 18. The 242-acre development will include 137,000 square feet of restaurant and entertainment space, a 600-room hotel campus with four hotels, 29 acres of parks and amenities, 2,400 units of luxury urban living, 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space and a 1 million-square-foot corporate campus. Frisco Park 25 The commission also approved a preliminary plat on the property northwest corner of Rockhill Parkway and Preston Road that is owned by the Frisco Economic Development Corp. The Frisco EDC plans to develop 216-acre corporate industrial park called Frisco Park 25. The preliminary plat approved by the commission facilitates the construction of roads and infrastructure on the property. The park will include 14 lots, each varying in acreage and square footage. The park is expected to open in 2017.
