The Frisco planning and zoning commission will hold a public hearing regarding the Canals at Grand Park on Sept. 22.

The Canals at Grand Park is a primarily residential development near Grand Park, Frisco’s future 350-acre centerpiece park.

Canals at Grand Park is master-planned to be a multigenerational community totaling more than $300 million by Arcadia Realty Corp. and Charter Properties.

According to a city staff report, Arcadia submitted an application to request modification to the town homes regarding exterior building material with the planned development. Since there are other property owners besides Arcadia, city staff recommends a public hearing be held.
