The May 9 election features several contested elections for the city of Frisco, Frisco ISD and Collin College.

City of Frisco

Incumbent Place 1 City Councilman Bob Allen will face challenger Janet Evans Webb. Incumbent Councilman Will Sowell is unopposed for the only other open council seat, Place 3.

Frisco ISD

Three Frisco ISD residents are vying for the Place 3 one-year unexpired term—Srikanth Garrapu, Bryan Powell and Chad Rudy. Incumbent John Hoxie will face Rajesh Singh for Place 7. John Classe is unopposed for Place 6.

Collin College

On Collin College board of trustees, Frisco resident and incumbent Place 7 trustee Steve Cone will face Mike Gould, Collin McKinney and Jim Orr. For Place 8, incumbent Farmersville resident Bob Collins faces Ken Roberts of Plano. Frisco resident Andy Hardin is unopposed for Place 9.
