The city of Frisco is investing $1.8 million into renovations and improvements at B.F. Phillips Community Park, according to a Sept. 8 filing with TDLR.
According to the filing, the renovations include trail and plaza paving, restroom and concession building upgrades, artificial grass and a new lacrosse wall and practice area.
Completed in two phases between 2008 and 2019, B.F. Phillips Community Park features multiple baseball fields, a playground, picnic tables, a football field, a dog park, concession facilities, bike trails and a disc golf course. The park hosts youth baseball, soccer, softball, lacrosse and disc golf games.
