Northbound Teel Parkway, just south of Stonebrook Parkway between Benson Drive and Stonebrook Parkway, will close at 10 p.m. Aug. 7 and not reopen until 5 a.m. Aug. 8, according to the city's communications office.
CoServ needs the road closed while workers replace some power poles.
Local neighborhood traffic will be allowed on northbound Teel Parkway, north of Timber Ridge Drive, but other traffic will be diverted west onto Timber Ridge Drive and then north on Lone Star Ranch Parkway as an alternate route to Stonebrook Parkway.
Detour signs will be posted.
City officials said motorists can avoid the detour by using Lebanon Road to travel to Lone Star Ranch Parkway or to Legacy Drive in order to go around the road closure.
