Frisco Candidate Forum cancelled due to weather

Potentially icy conditions has caused organizers to cancel the Frisco Candidate Forum Scheduled for tonight.

Collin College, where the forum was to be held, has also closed its campus for the day.

“The roads may improve later on, but the Forum Organizing Committee does not want any voters to be at risk while trying to attend,” organizers said in a release. “And many candidates who must travel great distances may be unable to attend.”

Organizers encourage voters to research and vet candidates for their values, principles and policies.
