"I love Main Street," Bell said. "It's such a cool street to shop on and I really wanted to be a part of it."
Bell, who recently moved to Grapevine, said the store has a unique retail concept, as it contains two distinctive shopping experiences with Munnerlyn The Candle Shop in the front of the store and Backroom Reserve at the end of the store.
Munnerlyn The Candle Shop contains aromatic candles, diffusers, perfumes, soaps, upscale candelabras and accessories. Backroom Reserve, a Texas gourmet shop, features a variety of salsas, hot sauces, jams, jellies, glazes, cooking sauces, bbq sauces, spices, dessert toppings, as well as a plethora of accoutrements and foodie favorites.
“I know it sounds weird but it works,” said Bell. “The store has a smell-good side and a taste-good side. I love great fragrances, spicy foods and delicious gourmet items, so I designed the store for folks out there like me.”
Munnerlyn The Candle Shop and Backroom Reserve is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are from 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from noon-5 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays.
