"We appreciate the quality of jobs this high-tech hub will be adding to our community." —Jim Gandy, Frisco EDC President
The Frisco Economic Development Corp. entered into an incentive agreement in August 2014 with Paycor, EDC Director of Marketing Darcy Schroer said. Paycor can qualify for up to $175,000 for creating at least 70 full-time jobs at the Frisco location. The company must provide documentation showing full-time employment numbers in order to receive the incentive payment, Schroer said. "We welcome Paycor's first tech center in Texas to Frisco and to Hall Office Park," Frisco EDC President Jim Gandy said. "We appreciate the quality of jobs this high-tech hub will be adding to our community. The employees working at Paycor's Frisco location reflect the skilled IT and engineering workforce living in our city." Paycor's software platform is being used by more than 26,000 clients nationwide, according to the news release. "As client and market needs evolve, Paycor remains committed to delivering cutting-edge HCM and payroll solutions that enable businesses to address these changing requirements and perform better," said Zhen Tao, chief technology officer for Paycor. "The establishment of our new facility north of Dallas provides our product teams with a highly engaging and collaborative workplace while helping us grow our team by attracting the best technical talent. Brokers Craig Wilson and Travis Boothe of DTZ, an international commercial real estate services firm, handled lease negotiations on behalf of Paycor. "We introduced Paycor to business parks with the flexibility to accommodate future growth as their employee base expands," Boothe said. "They chose Frisco/far north Dallas because of the abundance of the area's skilled work force and they chose Hall Office Park because of its new modern, sustainable building in a natural, mature environment filled with sculpture and art."
