Election Day is Tuesday, but that is not the only thing Frisco residents should know this week. Here are four things happening this week in Frisco:

Committee will meet to discuss Frisco's legislative priorities

The Frisco Legislative Committee will meet at 11 a.m. Monday at Frisco City Hall to discuss the city's legislative priorities for the upcoming Texas legislative session. In the 2015 legislative session, the city's highest priority was  preserve its ability to govern effectively, thus opposing any legislation that would erode Frisco's current municipal authority. The 85th Texas Legislature will convene Jan. 10.
