According to Frisco Square's latest Facebook post, Trick or Treat in the Square has been canceled. This would have been the eighth year the event has been held in Frisco Square. The event featured trick-or-treating at Frisco Square restaurants, shops and business, as well as a petting zoo, face painters, balloon artists, horse-drawn wagon rides, costume contest and more. This was also a free event. In January, it was announced that large portions of Frisco Square had been sold to Missouri-based investor, Maxus Realty Trust Inc., for more than $53 million. Maxus Properties manages the Frisco Square Property Owners Association, which manages Frisco Square. Community Impact Newspaper reached out to Maxus Properties for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
