Southlake’s Park Village to celebrate grand opening with concert

Southlake’s Park Village will celebrate its grand opening April 16 from 5-8 p.m.

Located at 1065 E. Southlake Blvd., Southlake, the shopping center features a mix of shops and restaurants such as RA Sushi, The Pilates Barre and The Juice Bar.

The event, “Sip, Shop & Rock.!” features food and drink samples, cooking demonstrations, giveaways, discounts, VIP swag bags and a free concert featuring the Gin Blossoms.

The sip and shop portion will start at 5 p.m.  VIP ticket holders will check-in to receive a map of Park Village featuring participating retailers, which will offer activities and giveaways, including:

  • Chef demos and food samples at Sur La Table and The Fresh Market
  • A Gin Blossoms green juice shot at The Juice Bar
  • A choice of a beer flight or sugar cane juice mocktail at Malai Kitchen
  • Photo opportunities with Rowdy, the Dallas Cowboys mascot, at Cowboy Up
  • Brow tints at The Lash Lounge
  • AVEDA body products at Lemongrass Salon
  • An Adidas Boost X running shoe test ride and electrolyte cocktails at Luke’s Locker
  • A giveaway for two Oxygen Pillows from Sovn European Sleep Systems
  • Samples of signature Mediterranean dishes at Luna Grill
  • A blonde draft beer at Taverna Rossa

All VIP ticket holders will also receive a swag bag with prizes from Park Village’s shops and restaurants.Only 200 VIP tickets are available. Tickets are $20 each. All proceeds from the VIP tickets will benefit the Miracle League of Southlake, which provides opportunities for local children and young adults to play baseball, regardless of their abilities.

The Gin Blossoms will take the stage at 7 p.m. and play their top hits, such as “Hey Jealousy” and “Found Out About You.” For opportunities to win meet and greet passes to hang out with the Gin Blossoms before the concert, follow Park Village on Facebook.

The concert is free, but registration is required.

Limited parking for the event will be available on-site at Park Village. Overflow parking with a complimentary shuttle will be available at Dragon Stadium in Southlake.
