As part of the 31st annual Main Street Fest in Grapevine, held May 15 to 17, A&R and music company JG Entertainment will present its second annual DFW ICON vocal competition.



The competition looks for singers ages 7 to 24 and will benefit Kidd's Kids, an organization founded by the late radio personality Kidd Kraddick.



Winner packages exceed $20,000 in prizes including recording, branding, social media, photo shoots, image consulting, scholarships and more.



Preliminary rounds will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 15 and at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at Grapevine's Palace Theatre.



Finals will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 17 on the Michelob Ultra Main Stage.



Trevor Douglas, a former top 24 contestant on FOX's "American Idol" and DFW ICON finalist, will be a judge at the competition and will also perform.



Talent will be placed in four categories grouped by ages 7 to 11, 12 to 15,16 to 19 and 20 to 24.
