Los Amigos Grapevine celebrates 30th anniversary

Owner Arturo Gutierrez said he purchased the building, a closed Mexican restaurant, in February 1996. During a ribbon cutting celebration with the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce, Gutierrez thanked his staff, saying multiple employees have been there for 10 years, 12 or 18 years. One of the servers has been there almost 30 years, hired just months after Gutierrez bought the building and opened his restaurant, then just called Los Amigos.

Los Amigos Grapevine offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Gutierrez said some of the most popular items now are street tacos and quesabirria.
