Pamela Broussard, a Cy-Fair ISD teacher who works with students in the New Arrival Center at Cypress Falls High School, was recognized in the Lifetime Achievement category—for educators who have more than 20 years of experience—on May 6 at the 17th annual H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards ceremony. Honorees in this category receive $25,000 in cash for themselves and a $25,000 grant for their school. The H-E-B program has given away more than $9.5 million in cash and grants since its inception in 2002.
