'It feels like Groundhog Day': Hutto council again delays vote on improvement district

The Hutto City Council again postponed a decision on whether to create a Public Improvement District tied to the large east-side Stromberg development, citing continued concerns over missing documents and unresolved disagreements between city staff and the developer. Council reopened a public hearing on the proposed district, which would finance infrastructure for a roughly 389-acre residential community, but voted unanimously to adjourn the item to Jan. 22 after staff said key requirements had still not been met.
