Three candidates are running in the Republican primary to represent the party in November for Brazos County distict clerk.
The seat is currently held by Gabriel Garcia, who is running for reelection. He is being challenged by Rudy Schultz and Wayland Van Nest.
There is currently no Democratic candidate running for the position.
