The Tomball community gathered the week of March 15 to honor the late City Manager Rob Hauck, who died March 13 in a single-vehicle crash in Waller County, according to an obituary release from the Tomball Police Department. A memorial service was held at the Tomball ISD stadium March 19.
Yokohamaya Japanese restaurant coming soon to Tomball Marketplace
Japanese restaurant Yokohamaya is slated to open its second Houston location in Tomball in late March, according to owner Jian Fang. Originally located in Cypress, the eatery offers a selection of Japanese foods such as takoyaki, gyoza and sushi. Yokohamaya is expected to open in the Tomball Marketplace shopping center at 14257 FM 2920, Tomball.
Sauced Up mobile food truck now serving pizzas off of FM 1774 in Magnolia
Mobile food truck Sauced Up opened at 36825 FM 1774 in late January, according to business owner Dawn Patterson. Currently operating as a mobile, wood-fired pizza trailer, Sauced Up offers Neapolitan-style pizza with vegan options.
