Here are three locally owned businesses that opened in Pearland and Friendswood in January and February.

NamasTEA & Ice Cream opened at 104 S. Friendswood Drive, Ste. B, Friendswood, on Feb. 15. NamasTEA & Ice Cream serves natural blends of tea as well as various ice cream flavors. The business is owned by Nam Lo Dinh, who is a kindergarten teacher at Landolt Elementary School and manager at her mother’s business, Jenny’s Bakery. For more information, call 832-569-5000.


Bread and More had its soft opening in Pearland on Jan. 12. The business sells bread from a variety of cultures, including Filipino bread. Bread and More is located at 1826 Country Place Parkway, Ste. 106, Pearland. For more information, call 832-288-5426.

Evoke Bridal opened in Pearland in late 2020. Located at 9415 Broadway St., Ste. 119, Pearland, the bridal salon specializes in size-inclusive wedding dresses up to size 32. For more information, call 832-975-7137.
