What should be done to improve transportation across the Greater Houston area?

The North Houston Highway Improvement Project will redesign I-45 into three segments. Not only will this project bring these highways up to standard, but it will improve travel and reduce traffic.

What should be done to mitigate flooding across the Greater Houston area?

Construct a coastal barrier to protect residents and crucial infrastructure from the dangers of severe weather and storm surges.

If elected, what would be your priorities?

a) Reduce violent crime rates that have risen in recent years, b) Support our men and women in law enforcement, c) Stop illegal immigration and secure our southern border, d) Reign in wasteful federal spending, and e) Put a check on President Biden’s radical agenda.

What makes you the best candidate for the job?

I am a public servant at heart. It has been the honor of a lifetime representing the constituents of TX-22 in Washington, D.C. We have had good days and bad, and we have had victories and defeats, but the fight is not over yet. That is why I am running for re-election to keep representing the good people of Texas' 22nd Congressional District. In Congress, I will be your voice in the fight to protect our freedoms and conservative values.

What should be done to improve transportation across the Greater Houston area?

This question is one of the most difficult to answer. Our transportation improvements have always been reactive to the population growth instead of proactive. Unfortunately TxDoT and local infrastructure has not been able to keep up with this explosion of population. Currently there are multiple major highway improvements around the metropolitan area that honestly wont be enough to mitigate this upon their completion.

What should be done to mitigate flooding across the Greater Houston area?

We need to ensure that we plan for proper drainage in new builds. Houston is built on swamp lands, we have covered much of that with concrete and asphalt while not having enough drainage for the copious amount of rain we get in the area. I am aware that many of our major highways are designed to help with the water mitigation, but we need to be planning like this for our neighborhoods...

If elected, what would be your priorities?

My priorities are as follows: Repeal the Patriot Act, it is the most unconstitutional piece of legislation to have passed through our federal government in my life time. Work to reform our immigration system, as the cost and difficulty of navigating that system are antithetical to what we claim to be, a welcoming country to those who want to find life, liberty and happiness.
