Round Rock ISD also canceled all events and closed campuses including Westwood High School, where the Mobility Authority had planned to hold the event. The new open house date will be March 10 from 5–8 p.m. at Westwood’s cafeteria, 12400 Mellow Meadow Drive. Attendees will learn about the Mobility Authority’s plans to improve mobility on US 183 from MoPac to RM 620. Maps and concepts of the project will be available for viewing at the event. The Mobility Authority is considering adding one to two toll lanes in either direction as well as making $5 million in improvements to bicycle and pedestrian accommodations throughout the corridor. Other improvements could involve expanding the roadway from three to four general-purpose lanes continuously along the highway. Anyone unable to attend the event may provide input through the virtual open house available through March 20. For more information, visit www.183north.com or follow on Facebook and Twitter.
