CodeNext Open House
Provide feedback on CodeNext, the city of Austin's initiative to revise the land development code, at an open house this weekend. The code dictates what can be built where and is a collaborative effort between civic organizations, community members and businesses. Free.

Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of wild game, including fried venison cutlets, elk enchiladas, rabbit and dumplings, pheasant gumbo, and a variety of sides and desserts at the 27th annual Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner. Proceeds from the dinner and live auction will benefit charities throughout northern Hays County. The Dripping Springs Community Mission Partnerships, an organization that serves in-need families by providing maintenance, repair and construction support, is this year's title beneficiary. Children age 4 to third grade can attend the supervised kid zone in the Dripping Springs High School gym, where there will be a bounce house, ball games, movies and other activities. Tickets for the kid zone are $10 per child and can be purchased
online.
The dinner will be held in the main cafeteria and auditorium of the high school. Tickets are $400 for a table of eight adults; $20 for seniors age 60 and older; $30 for adults ages 12-59; and $10 for children ages 4-11. Children younger than 4 eat for free. Tickets can be purchased
online or at Will Call.

Manchaca Crawfish Festival
Beaux Southern Seafood and Grande Equipment will host the first annual all-you-can-eat Manchaca Crawfish Festival, featuring live music by Whiskey Shivers, the Clay Compania Band and The Molts. Tickets are $30 if purchased in advance

Sustainable Food Center's Spring Class Preview
Learn more about the Sustainable Food Center and preview some of its upcoming cooking and gardening classes, including knife skills, Indian and Mexican cooking, beekeeping, seed saving and backyard gardening. Visitors to the preview event will save 15 percent on classes. Quantities are limited.
