Average sales price, number of homes sold see little change since last July in Southwest Austin

The number of homes sold in the Southwest Austin market in July has seen little growth year over year and since the previous month, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

The details

Home sales declined year over year in five of the eight ZIP codes in the Southwest Austin market, with the biggest percentage decrease in 78736. Last month, six of the eight ZIP codes saw a year over year decline in home sales.

There was also a decrease in five of the eight ZIP codes in days on the market, with 78748 seeing a 38.5% decrease.

Median sales prices have seen little change year over year, with 78736 having the greatest difference of a 13.5% increase in average price.
