Owner Joe Bastone started Pazzo Burrito with his two daughters, Mia and Gabi Bastone, as a pop-up food truck in summer 2021 before opening at Sententia Vera Cultural Hub on June 25.
The globally inspired truck features Mexican, Indian, Korean and Italian-style menu items on a rotating basis. Meats, including certified, pasture-raised Angus beef, are locally sourced from K&C Cattle Co. in Austin and cooked on Big Green Egg ceramic grills over natural lump charcoal. All ingredients are non-GMO and mostly organic.
The truck is open on certain Saturdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., announced on Pazzo Burrito’s Facebook page each Sunday. Sententia Vera Cultural Hub has outdoor and indoor seating for diners and offers local wines and beers. 512-829-1382. www.facebook.com/pazzoburrito
