Austin Pizza Garden, a local pizzeria located at 6266 W. Hwy. 290, Austin, will close Jan. 17 after 27 years in the community, the business announced Jan. 8.



The restaurant operated inside a stone building built in 1898 and is just east of The Y at Oak Hill in Southwest Austin. The structure was designated a historic landmark in 1970.
