South Austin Beer Garden—which reopened May 22 with other area bars under new state guidelines regarding the coronavirus pandemic—celebrated its first anniversary in business during the closure. Located inside of a renovated home at 10700 Menchaca Road, Austin, the beer garden offers 60 beers on draft and a cocktails menu with both indoor and patio seating.

Current restrictions at the beer garden include a 25% capacity cap, and a three-person limit per table inside, while six people are permitted at outdoor tables, according to the business. The beer garden also sold drinks to go during the closure of its dining room in April and May.
