Throughout September and October, the Southwest Austin community can help fundraise for local organizations, enjoy a group singles event and sample tacos and margaritas at a festival.

Art in the Park

Young community members can enjoy crafting nature-inspired art at the free community event hosted by Austin Parks Foundation and nonprofit Painting Pandas.

Back To School Rotary Rodeo 2025


Rain or shine, attendees can expect vendors, live music, stick horse barrel races, bounce houses and more. All funds raised will benefit the Dripping Springs High School Scholarship Fund and Rotary Club of Dripping Springs.Goat Cuddles and Coffee

The coffee shop’s backyard will be set up for baby goats ready to cuddle and pose for pictures with participants. Adult tickets include admission to the event and a coffee of the attendee’s choice.

Who Killed The Love Interest?

At this small group singles event, attendees will complete puzzles, look for clues and talk about all things literary tropes. The event is recommended for individuals ages 25 to 40.RippleFest Texas 2025

Over 30 bands will perform at this stoner rock and metal music festival across two Austin venues. Some performers include Mothership, Luna Sol and Desert Suns.

2025 Texas Barbell Fall Showdown


Competitors will compete in the new weight classes and qualify to compete in the virus weightlifting finals in Daytona Beach. Awards will be presented to first through third place overall, youth male and youth female, and more.

Feed The City Austin: Making Meals for People In Need

Community members can gather with supplies to make 25-30 sandwiches per attendee including deli meat, cheese, bread, yellow mustard, tangerines, large bags of chips and Ziploc bags.Austin Taco and Margarita Festival

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of tacos and margaritas while enjoying live music, street food, frozen drinks and a raffle to win a trip to Mexico.October

Plant Swap


Participants will bring at least one plant to share at this come and go event. All plants are welcome from outdoor annuals and indoor plants to veggie starts.
