26th annual Empty Bowls

This annual event benefits Dripping Springs’ food pantry, Helping Hands. Attendees can select a number of bowls from the 1,200 ceramic bowls created by local artists and fill them with gourmet soups donated by 30 restaurants. Aside from soup, participants can also enjoy live music and dessert.Texas Book Festival

This annual event will feature more than 300 distinguished, award-winning national and Texas authors, including Roxane Gay, Stacey Abrams, Kenny Gilbert and more. The festival is family-friendly and offers programming for all ages and interests including poetry, nonfiction, fiction, cooking and poetry. There will be ticketed sessions for certain authors that will include a copy of the author’s book. Ticket pricing and sales will be available in October.OOTKS Fall Festival

One of the Kids offers a multidisciplinary approach of applied behavior analysis, speech, occupational and swim therapy for children with autism. This event will have a petting zoo, bouncy house, face painting and balloon animals. There will also be storytime, an outdoor playground and an indoor gym.

A Christmas Affair: Cosmic Holiday


This five-day holiday market will have over 200 retail merchants from across the country. The Junior League of Austin uses funds raised from the event to provide funding and volunteer hours to programs like Coats for Kids and FIT-Food In Tummies.
