Dripping Springs ISD has announced schools will remain closed through Feb. 18. Previously, closures were announced through Feb. 17. All school activities will be canceled.

"As our community continues to experience challenges with power outages, sub-freezing temperatures, and additional precipitation that is forecasted, Dripping Springs ISD is extending the school closure," the district said in an online announcement.

According to communications from the district, remote learning will likely resume Feb. 19. A final decision with be made by Feb. 18.
