After Central Texas-owned hospitality group Tc4 & Co. officials announced the closure of Mighty Fine Burgers, Fries and Shakes in Belterra, the same team promised to bring a full-service Italian restaurant to the space.

Cousin Louie's is a new concept helmed by Tony Ciola and Creed Ford IV, alongside Tc4 executive chef Louis Ciola III.

On the menu

The Italian restaurant will offer hand-made pastas, Italian-American dishes and a wine menu. Many of the dishes will be Ciola family recipes.

"I spent a lot of time with my Great Uncle Dominick at the original Ciola’s in Virginia Beach when I was younger, so I’m thankful for the opportunity to carry on that legacy, while incorporating what I’ve learned from working with some of Austin’s best chefs, to create the Cousin Louie’s menu," Louis Ciola III said in a news release.

The space is under renovation and will open in the fall, with design being crafted by Austin-based interior designer Kim Lewis Designs.
