The Dripping Springs Sports Club is currently seeking investors in the greater Austin area who want “their legacy established in something that is going to stand for several generations,” according to founder and CEO Drew Rose.

The company is raising $20 million to fund a DSSC facility near the Headwaters and Sunset Canyon neighborhoods.

The overview

The DSSC plans to construct a 150,000-square-foot sports facility at the front of the Headwaters neighborhood.

The facility will include:
  • Six outdoor pickleball courts
  • Four outdoor beach volleyball courts
  • One outdoor basketball court
  • One indoor gymnasium with the capacity for:
    • Four basketball courts
    • 12 volleyball courts
    • 16 pickleball courts
The facility will also include a cafe and recreational areas.

Residents can also expect additional commercial development in the area, according to Rose.

In case you missed it

To help bridge the gap until the new facility is operational, the DSSC team recently opened a flex space on Fitzhugh Road.

“We’re still a little more than two years away from opening the facility, but there’s still such a need for this type of programming,” Rose said. “And so we decided to start our operations early.”

The flex space has been open for about three months, and Rose said over 250 families have participated in programming.

Looking ahead

Rose said they expect to break ground in late 2026 and to open the facility in 2028.
